What is Wellness Coaching?

Wellness coaching helps individuals achieve optimal health and well-being. While professional coaches have long supported athletes and executives, wellness coaches now guide people in reaching their best physical and mental health. By using coaching psychology, wellness coaches help you identify intrinsic motivation, set realistic goals, overcome barriers, and create a personalized plan for lasting success. Most importantly, we help you develop healthy habits that support long-term well-being, making positive changes a natural part of your everyday life.

The Process

The wellness coaching process unfolds in several key stages:

  1. Complete a Wellness Intake Assessment: You’ll provide background information through assessments, giving both you and your coach a clear understanding of the key issues, including any relevant medical considerations.
  2. Initial Coaching Session: In the first 60-minute session, you’ll identify your priorities and create a personal wellness plan. This includes defining your vision, setting three-month goals, and outlining the first steps.
  3. On-going Coaching Sessions: In follow-up 30-minute sessions held weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, you’ll track progress toward your goals, address any challenges, learn new strategies, and set goals for the next phase. Along the way, you’ll experience many "ah-ha" moments.
